Involvement usually starts when a customer purchases a new asset but S4S can get involved at any point in its life cycle, even decommissioning. Their approach is always risk-based and individually designed on the client’s requirements and regulatory commitments, consequently the level of documentation they supply is appropriate to the associated risk.
Cold chain management
Our experience in cold chain management is unparalleled and where most of our time is spent. Over recent years regulators have consistently focused on this topic, in recent publications and guidance they have made their expectations very clear, the damage to brand and financial losses associated with not complying with the guidance are too great to risk.
Warehouse mapping
Very few companies have the resources to map extensive areas but with many staff trained to operate MEWPs and trained to work at heights warehouse mapping can be carried out with maximum efficiency and the minimum disruption.
Cold chain vehicles
This is a new area for many companies but S4S have already validated a number of national cold chain fleets from transit-sized delivery vehicles to full size trailers. As with all validation, it is really important to get the user requirements right at the start so you can be confident that when your vehicle is in service excursions don’t occur and you don’t have any costly downtime to revalidate.

Our validation associates are experienced in treading the tight rope between US and EU expectations. We do not just have the experience to map environments like refrigerators and incubators; we have ways to solve the trickier items such as vacuum ovens and furnaces too.
